The Galway Cartoon Festival is a wholly voluntary project. On goodwill alone we have grown, seven years, from a single exhibition to a week-long schedule of event in venues across the city, with famous guests from around the world and many forms of public participation. We are the only cartoon event in Ireland with a completely global outlook, and yet also the only one to promote and highlight cartooning in the Irish language.
